Liz Wells first qualified as a nurse in Leicestershire specialising in heart and thoracic but then focused her work with learning disabilities; managing both residential care homes and day services. Before setting up WHM Work Connections Liz managed day services in Melton Mowbray and in Market Harborough for over 12 years for the local County Council.

Helen Sedgwick qualified with a Bsc Psychology degree in 2007. Prior to setting up WHM Work Connections Helen worked for the local Authority firstly within day services for adults with learning disabilities and then moving to the Adult Social Care Social Work Teams to assess, commission and review care packages for people living within Leicestershire.

MANAGER
Nick oversees the daily running of the WHM Work Connections services across our three Skills Centres.
Working closely with the Company Directors, Nick ensures that a high quality person-centred support service is maintained.
Nick has previously worked for the local authority and is highly experienced running various services for adults with learning disabilities including both day care, residential and supported living.
Nick is highly knowledgeable in Safeguarding Adults and is WHM Work Connections lead in this area.
CARE COORDINATOR
Responsible for ensuring all health and social needs for every individual using our service. Our Care coordinator liaises with the local authority and health services to ensure a holistic approach to care provision is achieved
Greenfields Co-ordinators
Harriet and Emma share the Co-ordinator role at our Greenfields Skills Centre located in Seagrave. Greenfields is our original and largest Skills Centre and focuses on general skill development. Based on a working Dairy Farm means there is always lots going on, and there is a wide range of land based opportunities available.
Six Acres Co-ordinator
Neal oversees Six Acres Skills Centre which is located at Six Acre Nurseries in Costock. Based on a working Horticultural Nursery, Six Acres Skills Centres offers a wide range of work based opportunities to our workmates. It is a great environment to gain work skills, work experience and to be involved in a range of community enterprises.
WORK SKILLS COORDINATOR
Responsible for workmate and staff training needs. Seeking to find new and exciting training opportunities for all workmates and to ensure that individuals are reaching their learning potentials. Polly also supports individuals into the world of work. Seeking, organising and monitoring work placements in the local and wider community.
ENTERPRISE COORDINATOR
Responsible for supporting the development and sustainability of numerous social enterprises. In doing so providing opportuntiies for individuals to gain skills, work experience and a profit share. The Enterprise Coordinator also supports the running of Countryside Enterprises CIC a service user led company that oversees all enterprises and with the application of grants.
Fairfields Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating our Fairfield's Skills Centre located in Queniborough. This smaller farm based service provides similar opportunities to that provided at Greenfields Skills Centre, with a slightly different focus. The Fairfields Coordinator oversees a range of varied and exciting opportunities whilst ensuring that the higher support needs of the individuals attending continue to be met.
Office Manager
Mel is based at our Greenfields Skills Centre within our main buisness office. It is likely that she is the first person you see or speak to!
Mel supports the entire team and all three sites and works closely with the Company Directors Liz adn Helen to manage finances and payroll.
