Work Opportunities

At Greenfields Skills Centre we have fantastic facilities and trained support workers to work with you to develop your work skills and get work ready.

Once you have developed the skills and/ or qualifications required, our Work Skills Coordinator Polly will help you to identify work opportunities in your local area. Our aim is to help you to find, get and keep a job.

Our experienced support workers can help you to;

  • Support you with job applications
  • Look at how work will affect your benefits
  • Search for the right job
  • Develop your knowledge and understanding of workplace health & safety

  • Work Placements

    Work placements will normally last for a few weeks. They allow you opportunity to; gain experience in a specific field or occupation, chance try out different roles and work environments.

  • Volunteer Work

    Volunteering is a great way to gain experience and to give something back. Volunteering means that you are working for free and will not get paid.

  • Community Enterprises

    We can support you to develop your own enterprise or you can join one of ours that are already up and running! Our enterprises offer a range of services and products for the local community. They provide a great opportunity to gain work experience and there is even possibility of a profit share.
