WHM Work Connections CLC service will be closed on Friday 18th April (Good Friday) & Monday 21st April (Easter Monday).

The WHM Education EOTAS provision will be closed on the 14th April and reopen on Monday 28th April. * please note this is for students only not workmates

About us:

WHM Work Connections has supported the development of Countryside Enterprises – a ‘Community Interest Company’ which is owned and run by people with disabilities. There is opportunity to develop/work within small community social enterprises to provide goods and services to the local and wider community. Read more about our various enterprises below:

THE COFFEE HATCH

Take away service located at Six Acre Nurseries, Costock, LE12 6XB.

Open: Tuesday to Sunday 10am until 4pm

Serving a great range of hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and cakes.

By visiting The Coffee Hatch you are helping us to develop our catering and customer service skills, gain independence and to earn money!

 

Also located at Six Acre Nurseries, is Sprouts Farm Shop, where you will find a range of our enterprise products for sale:

  • Fruit and Vegetables

    Lots of the fruit and vegetables sold at Sprouts Farm Shop have been grown at the Greenfields Skill Centre in Seagrave, by the horticulture groups.

  • Jams and Preserves

    A wide range of delicious Jams, Preserves and Chutneys- all made in the cooking sessions that take place at Greenfields Skills Centre in Seagrave.

  • Wooden Crafts

    Hand made wooden crafts such as dog bowls holders, birdhouses, coasters and candle holders- all made in the woodwork sessions at Greenfields Skills Centre in Seagrave.

  • Gifts and Greeting Cards

    Beautiful hand made crafts and a wide range of greetings cards, made in the arts and crafts sessions at Greenfields Skills Centre in Seagrave and Fairfields Skill Centre in Queniborough.

  • Children's Toys and Books

    Nature inspired children's books and toys to compliment our Play Patch and Conservation Area at the Six Acres Skill Centre.

The aim for each enterprise is for them to become self-sufficient and to create wages for all involved.
