Go-Learn course available!

GoLearn are running some 2.5 hour sessions in partnership with the Parliamentary outreach team on ‘What is Parliament’. The course will cover the following areas…

• What an election is
• How to register to vote
• How to vote
• The role of the Members of Parliament and the House of Commons
• The role of the Lords and the House of Lords
• The different between Parliament and Government
• How Laws are made
• How the Public can get their voice heard

The courses will be from 10am-12:30 and will run at the following locations;

• 6th February at Hinckley Library

• 7th February at Moira Centre, Loughborough

• 6th March at Wigston Library

• 9th April at Coalville Library

• 10th April at Melton Library
