Set up in July 2011, WHM Work Connections provides person centred support for adults with disabilities to increase independence, develop valuable life and work skills and to pursue work opportunities.

Greenfields

Greenfields Skills Centre, Seagrave

Greenfields Skills Centre opened its doors in September 2011 and is based on Hawley Fields Farm in the village of Seagrave.

Our Greenfields Skills Centre Site offers a range of support, advice and guidance for individuals to develop the skills they need to become more independent. Whether this be to be able to live more independently in the future and reduce reliance on family/ carers or social care services or whether they wish to gain employment.

Fairfields

Fairfields Skills Centre, Queniborough

Our newest service Fairfields Skills Centre, opened in April 2016 and is based on Homestead Farm in Queniborough.

Run from the Old Farm House, individuals access a service similar to that at Greenfields but with a therapeutic rather than work focus. The Fairfields Site is made up of indoor workshops, training kitchen and offices as well as raised beds, barns and land outside.

Six Acres

Six Acres Skills Centre, Costock

Our latest Skills Centre is located at Six Acre Nurseries, a Horticultural Nursery (Garden Centre) in Costock.

Focusing on Skill development, qualifications and work opportunities

As the Nursery is open to the public there is a great opportunity for workmates to run/ develop Community Enterprises!

for us to sell all of the fantastic things made, grown or created through our many enterprises.

WHM Work Connections has supported the development of Countryside Enterprises a Community Interest Company owned and run by people with disabilities. There is opportunity to develop/ work within small community social enterprises to provide goods and services to the local and wider community.
